The rules this site sets itself by. A lab that argues for measurement should measure its own screen, so the figures here are computed, not claimed.
Two grounds
Day and dark. An explicit choice is remembered; otherwise the OS preference decides, and failing that, the clock.

The mark
The drawn circle is the state as measured; the filled one is the state a design aims for. Everything the lab does is the distance between them.
House rules
- No interpuncts.
- No shadows. Hairlines and colour contrast do the separating.
- Latin display sizes are never copied onto Hangul — the same number lands far heavier.
- No mono on lines that mix scripts: no monospace face carries Hangul, so the line splits mid-sentence.
- Text on the accent uses --on-accent only; it flips light or dark with the ground.
- One accent-filled surface per screen, at most.
- Before a deploy, all seven pages render at three widths with zero horizontal overflow, on both grounds, with reduced motion checked.
The colour values and contrast figures on this page are read from style.css and computed at build time. The document cannot drift from the site.
